(Nasdaq:DAKT) announces the recent addition of its Vanguard® VF-2020 and VF-2420 series of high resolution, full-color Dynamic Message Signs for Intelligent Transportation Systems to the Florida DOT Approved Products List (APL). Continuing a tradition of leadership through introducing innovative DMS products to the market since 1988, Daktronics' latest Vanguard products are the first 20mm full-color masked-faced DMS approved by the Florida DOT's Traffic Engineering Research Lab (TERL).

Known nationwide for stringent quality standards, districts in Florida must adhere to the FL DOT Approved Products List for all Traffic Control Device purchasing decisions. Meeting and exceeding those specifications for over 10 years, Daktronics has introduced a variety of products to the market ranging in resolution from 66mm to 46mm, evolving to 34mm and now 20mm.
