Daktronics Inc. Announces the Death of Board Member, James A. Vellenga

BROOKINGS, S.D., Aug. 17, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Daktronics Inc. (NASDAQ:DAKT) announced today with great sadness the August 11, 2015 death of James A. Vellenga, an independent director.

Reece Kurtenbach, chairman, president and chief executive officer, commented, "We are saddened by the loss of Jim and our hearts go out to his wife and extended family. Mr. Vellenga was elected to the Board of Directors in 1997 and served on the Audit Committee since 1999 and the Nominating and Governance Committee since 2011.
